Marco,
The way I look at it...?? Some of those High Flyers are ranging anywhere between 200-600 Dollars, and that would pretty much cover anywhere of a third to half the price of a Hallmark that you could be putting your hard earned money towards . Seriously, I would hold off and just get yourself the Hallmark. Sure, like Tom Petty said in one of his tunes, "Waiting Is the Hardest Part", but it will be well worth it. What will happen is after you buy the Hallmark, then you will want to get rid of the Flyer, and you might lose money on selling it. My personal suggestion?? Play and enjoy the guitars you have right now, it's worth the wait once you receive your Hallmark.......dtm.

p.s. BTW, I am not affiliated with Hallmark guitars, they are just GOOD PEOPLE ;)

I have a hi flyer Phase II

It started me on the whole mosrite thing. The pickups sound great but its kind of a toy
not stage worthy at all. I put klusons on it and spent hours and hours trying to make it be all it can be...but in the end its still just a cheap guitar. I do love it there is lots of cool in it but it is what it is.

I would sell mine but at market of $600 (id do a buddy price for $500 on the mos forum)

I strongly recomend waiting for the hallmark or just keep saving and get a mosrite.

during my long search for a mos i really thought hard about a hallmark, and even a ranger
(ed roman is a p---k and no one should give him a dime) But if im going to spend $1K or $1500 i might as well spend $2000 or $2500 for a real thing that will go up in value and not DOWN!

I havent played a hallmark, im sure there really cool, the eastwoods are better than univox but still kinda junky i dont know what EF Elliot charges but that would be a cool way to go too.

Save up for the real thing or PM me if you are intrested in the Univox

PS those are old photos, i was going to ebay it so i took the stickers off and fixed the pickup adj screw on the treble side of neck pickup.
Thats also the original trem arm (RARE)

Cool pickups alot brigher and grittyer than a Mos

Mos is warmer and rounder....all around nicer, but there is something cool about the univox

if you can find one for a couple bills pick it up

I still vote save up and wait for a good deal on a real one. I have a 65 vibramute and a 66 mosley (both ventures) and I got $3500 in the pair. ( not cheap but for $8K worth of guitars its a good deal.)
There out there....u just gotta wait
