Thanks Adam. I know that guitar and if memory serves me there was an issue with it that I can't recall right now. I'm headed up that way in three weeks and may stop by there if time permits in either direction.

Thank you Greg. My first choice is a Celebrity model so I'll hold out for a while. Good luck with the Ventures model.

Hey Sarah,
I am thinking of selling my 1967 Celebrity III 12 string if you're interested. I don't know if you remember me, but we had sent a few e-mails back and forth discussing the guitar. You helped me date it, by telling me about the binding, pot codes, etc. I like the guitar, but am trying to raise money to get my Marshall fixed. It needs to be re-tubed (6550s aren't cheap!) and recapped.

The guitar is really nice, but isn't perfect. It does have a crack in the finish in the back, but it is NOT in the body. That seems to be a common thing with vintage guitars with this kind of finish. Also, you had noted the replacement screws in the pickguard and volume control plate.

It's currently at the shop being re-strung and setup, as I wanted it to be the best it could be before selling. The guy at the shop really liked it. I would be happy to answer any questions you have about it. I'm not really sure what the guitar would be worth, what would you suggest? I know they sometimes go on ebay for as high as 800-900, but that's with the original case, etc etc. This would come in a nice thickly padded Gibson gig-bag. This gig bag came with my Gibson ES-333 but I bought a hardshell case for it. So the gig-bag is perfectly shaped for a 335 style guitar.

I live in Pennsylvania, so I don't know if you're interested in having it shipped, or if you preferred to do a local deal. Anyway, just wanted to offer it as an option. I can e-mail you the pictures I have when I get home tomorrow if you want.

-Jon
