Taking a stab at finishing a Pearl drum set

next is gonna be the big ol' kick drum and the maple hoops for it. I think I have convinced my friend to take the black wrap off his snare so I can finish it to match this set. once I'm done I'm gonna take some pictures of it all together.

I'm truckin along a little bit on this project. so far I got the two rack toms done, the floor tom, and now here's the kick drum. I still need the buff this bad boy out, but I should be able to get that done tomorrow.
I think I have finally got my friend to let me finish the snare with it to have the complete matching set. he's planning on doing a show in september, so I should have the whole kit finished by then. I'd like to take pictures of it at that show hopefully.

here's one of the hoops to the kick as well. it's been stained and lacquered a little bit, but it needs more coats.
