Would anyone know why an amp head cost more than a combo of the same model? The combo has more cabinet , speakers and hardware but cost less!.........Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Perhaps there are far less amp heads (plus matching cabinets) manufactured, making a (small) run more expensive

Most I've seen priced that way are small builders (Boo-teek). The one that comes to mind that is mass produced is the Marshall Class 5. The head or the combo are the same price. I would think the combo would cost more due to the bigger cab, speaker and all.

The head costs about $350
The combo is about $400-$500

That sounds like a mistake. Plus, if you Google it you can find both for less.
