Joe Maphis and Larry Collins cover on my Mosrite 350

In case anybody likes country twin guitar on a Mosrite...

I finally played the Mosrite Stereo 350 on another gig and I'm really starting to like it... I wouldn't say that I like it more than my Joe Maphis model, but it really does play nice adn with a wider neck. They are both great and now I have to struggle with which guitar to bring to shows...
Anyway, this tune is a cover of the Joe Maphis and Larry Collins twin guitar duet from 1957 - Early American... That EP they put out on Columbia (with Skeets McDonald and Johnny Bond backing them) is amazing: Rockin' Gypsy, Hurricane, Early American and Bye Bye. This is probably my favorite record ever pressed...
Regarding the thread about this purchase (I found this guitar through the forum... many thanks!!), I put my name on the pickguard finally, but used stickers that fell off shortly after the gig. I kinda like the look of the sparkly stickers and will probably keep using them until I have a custom pickguard replacement built...

Anyway, enjoy...
-Nate

Nate Gibson & the Gashouse Gang:
Nate Gibson - Mosrite 350
Tony Savarino - Gretsch guitar
Miles Anderson - Upright Bass
Tommy Long - Drums
Charlie Rose - Pedal Steel Guitar

Great playin' Nate! ...good to know folks like yourself are keeping this genre of music alive. The stand up bass is coming through nicely too. Thanks for posting ;)

Hey Nate,
You do the song proud.
Now to complete the Joe/Larry picture all you need is a TNM :D

That's excellent Nate! When was that? I used to go to the Midway a bunch in the 90's for The Racketeers, Spurs, etc. I saw you at The Plough last year when Laura was visiting. I also know Tony from way back in my brief time at Berklee.
