Well, cheers! As I've said a couple of times now I find the JM a really amazing guitar. And playing the gig just made me like it even more. When I did some pics of the pups recently I didn't succed in putting it back together in the same cool set-up as it had before...I'll ask about this in another thread.

Bottom line is that I'm actually not sure that I'd prefer a Mark 1 now over the JM although that would be the first choice for most Mosrite people.

Great pic, Lars. It looks like it was taken in 1965.
Look forward to hearing more comments as you put in more gig time with the JM.

Looks like the photo was flipped, because he's not a lefty. Seems to be a different Ventures guitar from the one in the Hazelwood/Sinatra sessions.
Hey, how about this; there was a good pic of Billy Strange right here on the forum all the time…thanks to Brutus. ( viewtopic.php?f=6&t=907&p=8288#p8288 )

I did something to the pic though…can you spot it? ;) (hint: "lefty/righty")

That's nice Paul. The one thing I DID notice was that the guitar seems to be the same as the one with Sinatra/Hazelwood.
It was either that, or he had 2 identical red guitars with the 'WHITE silkscreening' on the Headstock, in which I'm pretty
sure that was done only in 1964.....???....Adam, help me out here.... :|

Plus one on that remark. And cows in the back - now that's classic! Cool Mosrite, Jim.

Great photo Jim. Your Mosrite turned out fantastic.

Interesting use of the end of the strap to hold the cord. ;)
