Vintage Ventures LP:

Here are some of the picks Nokie used: I've got them from Judy Edwards. Thanks, Judy. Nokie liked to use Jim Dunlop picks, one of the pick has "Mosrite" on one side, and "The Ventures" on the other side.

Although Bogle preferred the Neck Pickup on his Jazzmaster, it still had what I would describe as a Lame "Mellow-Jello Twang tone" compared to the Mosrite Guitar with a more "Driving Edge tone" to it. And of course, I don't believe there was ANY COMPARISON between the 2 (Bob and Nokie) Players. Also, when you compare the songs that were on both albums, it is very interesting how those songs on the Original Album seem to have an 'outdated tone' to them, but yet, they still have a more up-to-date tone 4 years later. Of course, the more up-to-date arrangements also help. Yet again, the tone on the Jazzmasters, just sound outdated
