I've been listening to the early Ventures' albums recently, and have a question for all you experts.......I know Bob Bogle played lead on the first few albums, but just when did Nokie Edwards take over the lead? On which album? When I listen to the "Surfing" album, it seems like Nokie must be playing some of the songs because of the lead style...........does anyone know which songs were Nokie's earliest on lead?
I know it must have been mid-60's or so.......thanks.......

Yes, I've had Del Halterman's book on the Ventures for a couple years and read it twice.........it does say that Nokie played "No Trespassing" on the first album, and Don Wilson played lead on "My Own True Love", which surprised me........
Just wondered if anyone had more info on the subject...........thanks for your help.........
