The Knickerbockers

Postby MWaldorf » Wed Nov 12, 2008 9:30 pm

Youtube is an amazing thing. Browsing through some garage music I landed on "Lies!" by the Knickerbockers - classic pseudo-Beatles, Rickenbacker and all. I checked out a video from later in their career and behold - Mosrites!

I just found those two songs, "Just One Girl" and "High On Love", both from what seems to be the same appearance, where they are playing Mosrites. Other clips have them with a Rickenbacker guitar and Fender bass.

No amplifiers and the audience looks like they were 'ordered' to attend the event. It's better to watch it with the sound off.

Wow! I always liked "Lies", and also enjoy The Ventures' version of the song ;)
This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!
