New to me: Dick Dale - Mosrite Conection

Dale mentions how seeing Joe Maphis play his Mosrite influenced him.

Dick Dale is my favorite Performer so this was a treat for me. The connection is loose but it's there.

That GC Sessions clip is really cool! It never occurred to me that Dick Dale was influenced by Joe Maphis, but it makes sense--Joe did a lot of fast picking, and of course, so does Dick.
And, by the way, it's Tex Ritter, not Ridder or Redder. Big country star in the early '50's. "Sixteen Tons", "Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darlin'"--a bunch of hits back then. And his son John played Jack Tripper on '70's TV sitcom "Three's Company" with Suzanne Somers!

NO volume or tone controls on Dick's Strat? What are the two toggle switches?
