Tyler's tumbl

Postby Haole Jim » Sat Aug 08, 2009 10:08 pm

'Never particularly a fan of the band or their "excesses," but man, when Tyler took a major fall during a concert this week and did some serious damage to his anatomy, you gotta give the guy credit for longevity as an artist, if nothing else.

Best wishes for a full recovery from your injuries, Mr. Tyler.

He fell off the stage at Sturgis in front 12500 people after they had been waiting in the rain for two hours for them to play. I was watching from the vip deck. The sound system had just blown and I think he was dancing around to fill some time
so the p.a. could be fixed. He fell like a bag of cinder blocks.. nobody caught him! 8 feet straight down. I was laughing but then I thought, he is like 62 years old so I felt bad. Then the air lift chopper came in so I knew the show was over. That is the best of my recollection but keep in mind I had ViP Cheech and Chong passes also. I think he will recover.
p.s I didn't buy the vip passes to these shows some old leather biker broad gave them to us because she couldn't make the the shows, her "Old Man" had been busted for some "bu**sh** crap" so she just wanted some beer and a ride to Rapid City
