Los Angeles guitar show....
I got a chance to talk to Dana Moseley and check out some of the Mosrite Originals....I gotta tell you that they feel like butter...the '63 sidejack is a sweet guitar. I was in awe of the craftmanship.....any one else go?

Yes, I went with Terry (TNM Guitars) and Adam (Dorkrock Records)....
Talked to Dana at the Mosrite booth, wandered around spotting odd things here and there, there were a few vintage Mosrites representing.
Best moment, which I know you all will appreciate: a guy knocked over a vintage Gibson ES-335 and a hush fell over the room. Adam and I were standing next to a dealer who says: "Aw man, why couldn't that have been a MOSRITE?" Then he follows it up with "I mean, all you can play on those things are Ventures songs!" It was awesome timing that he'd make that statement standing next to myself and Adam, of all people! Funny.
Nope, I didn't buy any guitars. I'm always in awe at those things, because it seems like a lot of the dealers who have stores mark the prices UP at the vintage shows.

I agree; I spoke with a few dealers and they were complaining about the lack of sales, yet the prices were insane. I saw a late 60's combo with missing pickup and parts for $2,000.
I don't think so...any way talking with Dana was worth the price of admission.

Well that's easy to fix. Topic split and moved to Mosrite Amp section. See it here
