The new issue of Tiki Magazine just arrived in the mail, always a joyous occasion for this third-coast-er.

Every quarterly issue features Polynesian-pop music and musicians, very often electric-guitar-based...and 'have seen piccies of a couple Mosrites in past issues.

Anyone else here play Island-pop-exotica and Lounge on your Mosrite?

This picker's Mk I, jacked into the old L6 Vetta I HD /412 slant set on '58 Bassman with Fender 'verb...

... just loves that stuff and sounds superb there for.

Maybe Mosrite should consider advertising there...?

64Sunburst (Byron), Could this be you since we don't have a picture????

Why does that 'Set-Up' sound REAL familiar?!?!?
Which member is using that setup with a Line 6 Amp?

Nope, that wasn't me. Even though our band has an exotica-flavored name - Tiki Taboo - we're basically a surf/instro band. But I've been known to have a mai-tai or two. ;)
And by the way, Haole Jim - did you live in Hawaii for awhile. I'm guessing because of your name. Byron

Nope, unfortunately 'never lived in any part of the Pacific Islands (yet)...'just personally really, really like the Polynesian Pop culture and "island" and Lounge and Exotica music.

(for thiose who are raising a "Huh?" brow, "Haole [how-lee] means non-native, and there ain't much more demonstably non-Polynesian than a Chicagoan of Euro ancestry.)
