Last night while reading through some old issues, I found a review of MBP's cd, a Deke review of a Stratosphere guitar, and a segment devoted to Brian Lonebeck's Anniversary Mosrite - a veritable treasure trove! That guitar is one amazing looking instrument ...

Your like freakin' me out Dennis :shock:

!!! The GP with the Stratosphere guitar....is this the JAN '93 issue with Eric Johnson on the cover
holding his red Strat on it's headstock?!?!?!? Because I just got done going thru some of my old GPs as well about 3 hours ago! :shock:

p.s. the article shows Jimmy Bryant playing the Stratosphere with Speedy West and Spade Cooley. There's a 2nd picture below with
Russ Deaver (who created the Stratosphere and along with his brother Claude, launched the operation in 1954.

Does anyone know if Brian still plays that custom Mosrite anniversary model? That has to be one of the most valuable Mosrites on the planet ...
