Tres hip, Sarah.
But hey, folks in general, if you ever get to Chicago, check out Tommy's Guitars & Cafe, in Ukrainian Village, on Chicago Avenue.
No kidding.
First time in there, a number of years ago, 'saw an electric blue Dillion Mosrite-oid sorta-copy VMD-75 hanging on the wall, while happily partaking of a corned beef sarnie, tater chips and a pop. In the presence of 350 or so guitars.
Yes, the experience does redline the cool-o-meter, tres beaucoup hip.
Check Tommy's out. Watch the video, too.
http://www.tommysguitars.com/(The Dillion played like ***t but had a personality and a sound and some vibe, so 'took it home. Then gave it to Third Coast Guitars to do a mongo setup and fret-filing)...and it's a surprisingly nice guitar. In fact, it stimulated the purchase of a real Mosrite a few months later, but that's another story.
