Thanks to all our dedicated spammers
I'd like to take a moment to recognize and thank all those automated and real life spammers that visit our forum 50-60 times per day and especially those 5-10 per day that actually are able to burst through our security code. A special thanks to those in Russia, the Ukraine, China and Nigeria. I know it must be a lot harder for you to interpret all the English questions to complete the registration process. Heck, you guy's are more diligent and a lot more persistent than many of those American subscribers that are constantly emailing me to ask for assistance getting past the security code to join the forum. Thanks to you, I have a real purpose being an administrator on the forum. Why, if it weren't for you spammers, I would have never learned so much about the back end operation of running a web site. Each day I log on I know I'm going to be greeted with a batch of newly registered spammers that have a deep interest in Mosrite guitars and are eagerly awaiting to access the forum. Many of you are so dedicated you return multiple times and re-register with a different user name and email address. So, with that in mind I offer you my deepest thanks and gratitude for giving this ol' man a real purpose in life.

SERENITY NOW!!!!!
Danny, your diligence does not go unnoticed. As an aside, I was setting up my new phone and came across the captchas and I could barely read them! Maybe I'm getting colorblind, or regular blind?
If it helps, here's my favorite turn of the tables on the scammers, the Nigerian re-enactment of the Monty Python parrot sketch:

Re: Thanks to all our dedicated spammers
Thanks, Danny, for all you do to make this such a pleasant place for so many folks from all over the world. It is wonderful to participate here.
The unmoderated, SPAM-filled nonsense at another forum caused me to stop participating several years ago. The core group there, like here, were super folks; we enjoyed acoustic-guitar discussions and actually began yearly northern-Virginia gatherings that boasted attendees from several different countries. We'd rent a state park with cabins and a campground, and it got to where 150 or so folks would show up for three days a year. LOTS OF TOLEX CASES!!!
But the sexual and political nonsense at the forum drove many of us away. After attending the gatherings for several years, I stopped going because I haven't kept up with the online stuff.
Too bad.

Re: Thanks to all our dedicated spammers
That is all very true. I spend more time on this forum than any other. The reason being I don't have to be bothered with the drama that exists elsewhere. It's easy to take this safe haven for granted and be lulled by it's peace. So, big hugs and a great big thank you Danny for all that you do to make this available to us.

Danny, if you were not here at the Controls of this 'Flying Forum,' we would of crashed and burned a long time ago......
either that or this 'site would of turned out to be just another 'ho hum forum' on the Internet......
Therefore I dedicate this Video which has no meaning what so ever, just maybe a chuckle

Re: Thanks to all our dedicated spammers
Danny, This is the most peaceful forum I frequent. Thank you. I can't think of a cleaner forum except an official Lego forum I went to in 2003 or so which was, of course, aimed at kids. Its the only forum I ever went to where every post and reply was approved before it was posted.

Re: Thanks to all our dedicated spammers
This is my first foray into the world of "forums", and from the comments, I am learning that this was indeed a charmed selection on my behalf. I would like to add my thanks, since I thoroughly enjoy visiting the forum, learning from others, and sharing what I can. If the forum were not comfortable, and a disciplined format, I would have signed off almost immediately.
