Today I am devastated and overwhelmed with heartache and sadness. This morning around 4:30 my best friend and little girl Abigail, went into a seizure and we had to take her to the animal emergency hospital. We knew it was coming but it so hard to let go and have someone you love put to rest to ease their suffering. This house feels so empty.

Danny, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The only consolation I can offer at a time like this is to assure you that you and your family made Abigail's life as wonderful as you could, and that means a lot.

Danny, I am so sorry for your loss. It is a very painful time to lose a friend with such devotion and never ending love. I'm sure the gifts and joy she brought you will be long remembered.

I'm sorry for your loss, Danny. I don't think I can say much else except, Dogs... How blessed we are to know or have known them.

Danny, from one dog owner to another, my sincere condolences to you.
Nature in the wild would have taken a different course, no doubt but we owners of pets also take upon us the responsibility to look after these domesticated animals.
Yes, a period of sadness but you did the right thing in preventing unnecessary suffering.
