I'd to thank Deke Dickerson for sharing his photo's and historical essay's of the early Mosrite and associated guitars of Bakersfield. It is some very valuable information and rare photo's. We should feel honored to have that information shared here on the forum. I particularly enjoyed reviewing the photo's and reading the stories of guitars belonging the various players I have personally known.
I know many of us have read Deke's posts and have not responded, but how can we? Much of that information is 'stand alone' and requires no response but rather read in amazement.
Thanks Deke!

Same here. Deke's posts are real eye openers!
Like you stated, Danny, I wouldn't know what to add to them. They stand alone as fantastic historical references. In true guitar geekiness, I've read every word of them and examined the photos. I'll go back and re-read them again. I even learned that Semi was a darn good player!
Thanks again, Deke!
BTW, I will definitely want to purchase a copy of your book. Please shamelessly plug it here so I'll know when it's available. Do you have a ballpark ETA on it?

Count me in for a copy of the book as well.
Also, Deke, maybe you could tell us a bit about how your Hallmark signature model came about, which features of which of your guitars you considered a "must-have", etc. It sure it a beaut, and judging from those demo videos on the Hallmark site, it sounds good too.

Thanks Deke, the stories and photo's you have posted are great, as much fun as reading an issue of Show-Me Blowout.

Hey, glad you guitar geeks are digging it. I'm just happy to have knowledgeable folks on the list who can correct me on dates and details. More stuff to come as I have time, if there are unanswered posts don't take it personally, I'm just out gigging somewhere....
