Thanks JTR, that helps.
Thanks Handbrake, I've tried contacting Ed on several occasions, never got a reply. I don't think Ed is as good with email as he is with building guitars...

Hi Olav,
I have an unused pair of Elliott p'ups I'll sell for what I paid. Give me a PM if you're interested.

I talked to Ed on the phone about a guitar project (stay posted!) and asked him about pickups. He's taking orders for a short run--20 pairs or so.

Ed's pickups are top quality and dead-ringers for vintage Mosrite models in both look and tone. I've got them in my three-pickup Partsrite and I love them!

+1 on Eddy's pups - I have 1 pair that he rewound, 1 pair that he built to original specs. Nothing but good things to say about his work.

I have to admit I never tried Ed on the phone. I might do that now you've all made me lose balance. ;)
I'll do some PMing to Handbrake too.
Nice to have a choice really, doesn't make it any easier though
No really, thanks a lot you guys, I started out a n00b on this forum, I feel I still am, but with reading up on things here and with all the generous help I've been getting, the guitar Oigun is gonna build, will be a killer of all other guitars.
Oigun built himself and others a couple guitars, they all look amazing. Just recently he finished his first lefty so I had a chance to really feel what level quality his builds are... Gotta tell ya I was blown away... (sure hope he's not reading this and recalculating prices...) That thing played smoother than my #1 guitar... If the clone he'll build me is anything like that... [drool-emoticon]
You see why I'm being a bit indecisive on getting the pups and other hardware?
