Re: stew mac
Stew-Mac regularly sends out tips and How-To's plus new neat specialty tools for the luthier like the crimping and flattening pliers above. Just go to their site and sign up.

Re: stew mac
I get these regularly...Stewmac is my go-to outlet when I want to ensure I'm getting good quality, and good service. I can find things cheaper elsewhere, but quality is often questionable.

Re: stew mac
They're not as big as StewMac but one my favorites is LMI. You can check them out at http://www.lmii.com They also have a lot of useful info and videos. They're also fairly local for us. Allen is also good. http://www.allenguitar.com
How dare you presume to inject, using reproducible facts and rational thought, an on-topic discussion into a thread that had degenerated from sarcasm, personal invective, and hand-waving arguments?

Most of the equipment at these places is beyond my skill level, but I can say LMII had the only dual action truss rod that fit in my Partsrite.
