Loose trem arm, Moseley tailpiece
The arm was loose when I bought it. Figured a quick tightening of the arm screw would fix it without a problem. It appears that the screw is in all the way, but the arm still swings loose. The MosriteCelebrity site had great info, suggesting using a piece of plastic from a sixer as a washer, but the washer that's already on the arm is just as thick. I'm not sure replacing the washer with something of equal thickness would work. I considered finding another washer and doubling up in there, but figured I'd check here for ideas first. All 3 parts of the screw assembly are intact, that is 1 screw, 1 small metal washer, and 1 plastic (I think) larger round washer. What do YOU think

Use the original washer in addition to the DIY plastic washer. The leather gets compressed over time, and the added washer will help make up for the lost thickness.

Thanks for the info. Picked up a 4 pack of Gatorade because the plastic has 2 different thicknesses to use, thick at the handle & thin around the bottles.
