I'd love to have a doubleneck with a standard guitar neck on the top and a 34"-inch scale bass neck on the bottom.

I don't recall ever seeing one made that way, but for those of us who play both instruments in a set, it would be nice to have. Probably would weigh a ton, though.

If anyone wants to build such a beast, I will be happy to test it for you; no charge.

You mean like this? Mosrite never used a 34" scale bass though. They are 30" scale length.

Hey!

That would do it! I like short-scale basses, too!!!

Very nifty guitar!

Cheers everyone,

A newbie here. Got a Mosrite Joe Maphis Doubleneck urging rewiring. Never dealt with doublenecks before and my guess is pretty obvious - top switch for neck selection, 2 bottom switches for PUs. The thing is I really wanna make it the right way. The way Mosrite wired them that time.

Anyone there with a wiring schematics/diagram for JM doubleneck?

Any tips, suggestions highly appreciated, thx.
