My '66 Maphis Model I is in for a repair job as the sound has been very week from the bridge pup for quite some time.
It turns out that the coil is broken and they'll try to fix it. The neck pup measures 9.98 ohms.
Anyone here got an idea wether the bridge pup's were around those same ohm levels back in the day or were chosen to be higher/lower - or maybe totally random?
