As long as I'm building I'll keep the pics coming. I went and purchased a 1/2" cove bit and 1/2" chisel so that should get me started on the "German Carve".

Well, I think I might be off to a good start on the Carve. Like I mentioned this is my first time doing the carve so I managed to have some gouging here and there. Hopefully I'll be able to have the body done by Monday or Tuesday. I tell you what, this process was shockingly easy when using the Basswood. Cheers, Kevin

Thanks Ed, I think that might be the route I'm headed but it's not set in stone yet. I'm known for changing my mind at the last minute. I'm kinda bouncing between four colors: Burgandy Mist metalic, Lake Placid Blue, Surf Green and either Daphne or Sonic Blue.
