I'm with Mel. The bridge I got had slanted rollers, and flattened axles, and a touch of some kind of cement (LocTite?) on each saddle to keep them in place. The ones that Brian has look like the axles are actually round, and not glued in place.

Mel, do you still have the bridge? If so, maybe the roller wheels are frozen and just need to be freed up with a little oil.....
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

The rollers on the bridge of my 66 body are seized up so I might try to disassemble it and clean everything up so I can have better tuning stability. I think Danny mentioned in the past that he let his tuners soak in mineral spirits overnight to free them up, not sure if the same would apply to the rollers.

I remember that Thread :lol: ! We had suggestions---everything from lighter fluid to gasoline (and some oil ideas)......
I would probably try the mineral spirits or WD-40 before setting the guitar on fire :mrgreen:
