Fair enough. Any definite plans for the headstock or will it simply be wearing the Meshugga "mask" for the time being? (A definite "Meshugga" logo would be cool though!)

BTW, the worst of the "just one last touch" was the time I tried trimming my eyebrows with my sideburn clipper. Lesson learned!

Thanks a lot! Just so you know, Diet Pepsi coming through my nose stings a bit!

Well, it's good knowing that I'm not the only one who suffered from the "incident"!

Hay Mel, looks good man. I don't know, if you know they make all different kinds of blades for those scroll saws, what I mean is the number of teeth per inch. Another sugestion is to mount the pickguard material on a piece of 1/4" masonite with double face tape. You do this for two reasons, 1 to give your pick guard material more stability and backing while cutting and finishing the final shape and 2 you can bevel the edge of the pick guard on a router table to get that fresh from the factory look. Nice looking guitar, keep your house locked

Definitely a router and template are the better technique. This one worked out alright for a more free-hand effort. Parce que, je suis un artiste! (all true artists must be able to rant in French, right?)

Bumping an old thread to ask a simple question: what are the dimensions to this pickguard?

Or, more easily, could a pickguard be cut out of a 10" x 4" plate of material?

Thanks!

You need a minimum of 6" X 12" and 1/2" more all the way around would be better.
