That's funny! I didn't even think of it from a perspective of how to cut it. I just put a protractor to the screen and measured it! ;) I can be such a geek sometimes!

I scanned my template it seems to be 77degrees maybe a bit nitpicking.
If you like I can email you a pdf file so you can print it in real size.
When you use it make sure the tunerholes are in the right place I have a suspicion that this is a copy of a copy and so not completely correct. (ebay templates)

Yes, indeed. It was my thespian debut. My favorite pasttime is comtemplating the geometry of various musical instruments as I compose an appropriate dirge for the next Mosrite to fall into the hands of Hankeroo. Of course, I can do that procedure with my right hand as I memorize Mr. Gruhn's book and eat gourmet jelly beans with my left. :geek:

Thanks guys, but its too late its cut out and shaped waiting for the rose wood finger board and attaching parts. Afew degrees isnt going to matter one way or the other, least wise not now.   Just wish this heat would let up so I could work out in the shop a little, this 110 heat index is a killer plus humidity doesn't help

Hay guys, you all might know how to do this already, but i'm going to ask you's the question. When drilling the holes for the tuners, do you counter boar the holes so the shoulder sits in a pocket or do you just punch one size hole and call it a day, install the tuner and let the ancor screw do the work? My self, I like to counter boar the holes for the tuners. Came up with a priety slick way to do it if ant one is interested, I can do a little show and tell deal, just like the string guide. By the way has anyone tried to make a string guide like this yet?

Ok, picks and explanations to come tommrow, need to set some equipment up for show and tell. Yeah a step drill is a nice tool to have, I was kind of thinking of the average guy that may not have that type equipment, or want to spent the money for the special step dril.
