I would never specify yellow as a color for a custom-made guitar...until now!

Hi guys,
This is a Original 1950s Gibson custom color that
was used on Les Paul specials and JRs, "TV Yellow"
Some of the lighter colored guitars of the time
had a problem of glaring on the old black and white
Television cameras, this yellow didn't, at least not as bad.
Gibson's fix for the problem.

Nice info on that color, so that's why they call it TV Yellow.
Great looking guitar! How would a tort guard look on there? Or even a Tigerstripe?

Hey Olav,

All those pickguard colors and patterns would look great on TV Yellow.
I'm going to be building some Surfer'65s in Surf Green, Sonic Blue, Shell Pink,
And also the ol' standard Sunburst, Pearl White, Candy Apple Red and Jet Black.
No extra charge for left-handed Guitars or Basses.

Hey Dennis,

No extra charge for a matching head stock on any of my guitars!
I all ready have the paint in the gun when I spray the body, so if a
matching head stock makes you happy, it makes me happy to make you
happy!
Ed
