If they are that hot, you'd better get a flame proof jumpsuit!

Dennis, we won't be held responsible for any accidental (or intentional) deaths or injuries while using these pickups. Furthermore, if you can no longer have children to using these pickups then we will also be held harmless and innocent in such a case. Use at your own risk. The neck pickup measures over 11K and the bridge pickup measures at 16K. With ceramic magnets you'll have a really high output. These things should drive tube amps into overdriven heaven for song screaming leads and howling sustain. Of course...thats just a guess! ;)

May we introduce the XR-2000:

Will try to post a better photo later...

Wanna see what's under the hood?

Thanks to Artie for supplying some dead Mosrite humbuckers for us to study. And to Aaron for some photos. The generosity of these two gentlemen will not be overlooked. PM me...

Wow. Maybe the term Humbuckers is too sedate for such brawny pickups. Maybe they should be called Humsmashers.

Very cool! Be sure to keep small children, the elderly, and pregnant women at a safe distance.

Does anyone have a geiger counter? I think we had better check the radiation levels.

Wow! Congrats to Dennis and to Matt and M3 for seeing these through.

So, how does the construction of these differ from the single coils? I know those have two magnets, running parallel to the screws one on each side. Does the humbucker use one magnet between the coils? Three magnets?

Also, it looks like there are five wires coming out of the pickup - two per coil plus a ground? Can you run the coils with a series/parallel switch?

Again, congrats to all involved!
