That would be an option to explore for sure so yes I'm open to hearing from members that can rebuild these original pickups or have vintage surplus ones from this D100 model they would part with. Thanks.

Hi Ward,

we would love to hear the story of how this Californian came into your posession. Have you put a multimeter on your pickups to see if they are alive or dead? Everything looks to me like it can be carefully cleaned up and made functional again. Once the pots are cleaned there is a spray that can improve the inside of the pot and often times they will work again.
