How Semie did it?
I think I recall from a photo or perhaps the "a day with Semie" video. that a fixture was used that fit over the neck and extended to the bridge area and once in the proper place the bridge poles were drilled. We're all looking for the same outcome that will give adequate intonation adjusting space. The fixture did away with all the line-up procedure. Ed Elliott would probably have the best handle on this.

Hi Aaron,
I like that you like it
That bridge has been on eBay some months ago, another one I bought from a forum member. Maybe Curtis Muldon still has some of them in Canada... Just ask him, best via facebook.
Cheers, Max

the second pics is more secure cause i don't know a guitar with the saddle for the hight string before the scale
more over generaly the compensations for string
is+1 mm for the hight E
and 3mm for the E low
if you use strong string (not 08 48 )
the distance can be more + 5mm on the low for perfect intonation
on my build now i use scale + the value i said before and in fact there is the good value they intoned correctly

Re: Help needed: bridge position (1990 partsrite project)
generally most if not all mosrite guitar scale lengths are the same. its been discussed a lot on this forum. the scale length is slightly smaller then a standard les paul 24 3/4. i'm sure theres forum member that can take measurement from there own mosrites. generally you want the bridge placed the same distance from the top of the 12th fret as the zero fret to the 12th fret octave. the only thing is you have to add in a little extra distance for the angle of the string. this extra distance on a mosrite guitar should be about 1/16th of an inch to 1/8 of an inch. mosrite bridges are wide so you should be able the get perfect intonation with that measurement.
