With the 60lb spring and 4 shims, once the .050 low E was put on then the spring took a dump. With the 120lb spring and 0 shims it sets perfect to my taste and back to where it should be if given the lighter guage strings.
If anyone is interested in the heavier spring tension for heavier guage strings let me know. The gentleman I mentioned that helped me out is about place a minimum order of 40 springs so I'll have one for my doubleneck too.
