Re: Mosrite 'Knock Off' Project #6 double neck
Thanks guy's.
It plays and sounds like a typical Ellison Custom.
I'm very pleased with it. Although it is light in weight, it does get a little heavy on the shoulders after standing and playing for a while due to the off balance of the neck and body weights. It's more of a conversational piece than something I want to play very often. Mr. Moto, Cruel Sea and Walk Don't Run sound unique on the octave neck.
It'll work for some country tunes, but I doubt this guitar will get much if any stage time as it sure won't replace my other single neck Custom's.
Terry, unfortunately Deke's Geek Fest is on my birthday and my wife has plans for us,
so I'll have to pass this year.

Maybe she has secret plans to take you to the Fest, so keep your new 'Double Trouble' at the ready Danny...dubtrub wrote:Terry, unfortunately Deke's Geek Fest is on my birthday and my wife has plans for us,so I'll have to pass this year.

OK, here's a shot of the headstocks. There also are a couple of closeups on page eight.
