Great job so far, Kev ... Any of those colors will set this guitar apart from the crowd ... I like the Burgundy Mist - and the surf green. WTH - Just do one in each color ...

I think other than some finish sanding this German Carve is done. I think tomorrow I'm going to start on routing the cavities out. Kevin

Thanks Paul. I've never tried that German Carve detail and was amazed at how good it came out. It's not the best but it's good enough for me.

Well, I haven't made a whole lot of progress but I had to finness the carve just a little bit more then routed for the controls, pickups and neck pocket. And I also sanded the whole body with #220 sandpaper and I got to drill for the side jack yet. I'm still not sure about the pickguard color. I'm either going to use the cream material that I got or use some tortoise material. Kevin

Bang up job, Kevin! You might need to start making unfinished bodies and necks for sale ...

I don't know, if someone offered me some cash for this body I'd probably sell it so I can buy my buddys truck so I can get some side work going on. I'm buying the truck for $300 and I'm $150 shy.
