A tip of the hat to Handbrake!
The web site homepage is easy to read, simple, and to the point. Sometimes home pages get a bit too "designy", and sort of lose it with all the stuff going on. Look forward to seeing it progress.

I too, tip my hat to handbrake (even if I don't even wear one
). I look forward to the activation of the links there so we can actually get a closer look possibly at all the specified models. Just one question Ed (and pardon my ignorance
) but what does the prefix "RS" mean with each type of model?
[edit] It just hit me: "Reverse Strat" perhaps?

Re: E Elliots mosrite project
Hi Dennis, that's exactly the idea. Before too long I'll have three of his guitars on hand, two being RS models and one an archtop from '86. My goal is to have some nice photography as well as a 360-degree product view for the model line. The website will also include some audio samples of the RS guitars played by local musicians.GattonFan wrote:That outta get some attention, and hopefully a ton of work for Eddy.

I like Mel's description of these guitars being like a dragster. Wait 'till you see the handmade trem/mute with aircraft bearings and adjustable bridge!
BTW, Ed's ordered the wood and is soon to begin another RS guitar that will be a show stopper. But that's all I can say at the moment!

Re: E Elliots mosrite project
Thanks for the design compliments, but I feel my role is small. Although the website is a placeholder for things to come, we are fortunate that some of Ed's recent work has been attractively documented. The pictures, as mentioned above, come by way of arpsum's site for Japanese enthusiasts. The photography is technical and compelling, in a word excellent. And it is commensurate with the craftmanship of the subject matter. Ed's work is indeed inspiring.
On a personal note, I'm very happy to get to know and work closely with Ed. On a further personal note, it really hasn't been that long since I was first introduced to Mosrites, Semie Moseley, and the living legacy of this utterly unique American story. The forum itself has been a big part of my education--not all of it being graceful, but most of it entertaining. So, I want to return a compliment to the forum administrators and everyone who contributes here.
Cheers!
