I haven't mounted it on anything yet, but it seems smooth as-is. However, the bearing assembly looks and feels almost identical to a Chinese Bigsby B-5 knockoff that I put on a Ibanez GAX-70, and it's very smooth.

Update on these trems: I still haven't used mine yet, I've got a few more practice necks to build and some template details to work out before I start on my Mosrite-inspired build.

I've had a couple of people ask me about the availability of these trems since I originally posted about them. Unfortunately, the original eBay vendor isn't answering my emails about getting more in stock, but that doesn't mean he won't have them again.

Having one source for these, though, sucks, so I've sent an email to Eric at eyguitarmusic.com (a vendor in China that I have found reliable) asking if they might consider carrying them. I'll post an update here if I hear anything back, or if the original vendor comes through with a response.

Eric at eyguitarmusic.com responded almost immediately - he doesn't know who produced it and so can't get it right now, but he will keep his eyes open.

Just heard back from the original vendor, performancemusicco:
Thanks for your interest. We should have more in in a week or two.

That's similar to what he told me when he sold out in February, so we'll see.

Also, I put in a query with ebay seller bezdez, letting her know there was some interest here. She doesn't have them currently, but she'll keep her eyes open with her suppliers. Bit of background: Bezdez operates out of Canada and gets product from Korea, China and NOS instrument parts and supplies from Germany.

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with any of these vendors, I just know there was a lot of interest when the trems first became available. I know I'll want to buy another one, and thought I'd see if I could get that ball rolling.

Performancemusicco on ebay has these for sale again. Rather than link to one of the auctions, since they seem to sell so fast, here's a link to a list of his items.
