Hey woodchuck30, I hate to be the bringer of bad tidings but check your dot marker on the 18th fret; all my guitars 'say' it should be on the 17th. ;)
I trust you're still in time to remedy that. I admire everyone who has ever made an attemt at making his/her own guitar!
[edit]while you're at it, don't forget to place one on the 19th fret also :geek:

Woops! Isn't the learning process grand. Certainly looking grand otherwise.Take out that one marker and replace it with an oblong diamond shape piece of Maple and reinsert the wooden makers on each side of it. Everyone will think it is nothing more than a cool looking inlay. Make it look like it was intentional. That's what Semie would have done.

...we haven't seen it...we know nutin'... (don't forget to put a marker on the 19th fret too...)
And don't you worry...the best guitar makers are the ones who never have (made one)...like me  ... :D

Hey Woodchuck, sweet work, even if there is a bump along the road, it makes it that much more memorable. I'm very jealous of the sweet shop equipment you have. Wish I had a planer and band saw like that! ;)

BTW, what tool did you use to cut out the wood inlay?
Cheers,
Aaron
