Very interesting pictures...and a great idea using a bicycle tube to keep the binding in place, tight against the neck :geek:

Maybe it is better to NOT post the pics after shaping? Or sandra has to stand by with a defibrillator.

If you use a good quality sanding pad you might get those pesky spots off of there. :mrgreen:

Do you use micro mesh sanding paper? I've been using it on Squier necks with great results. The necks are easier to slide with after I sand up to 2400 Micro Mesh grit.
