Custom neck plate ideas? Personalized? So, Johnified? Or GUN logo engraved?

John, I received the tort a couple days ago, I'll shoot a pic or two three of it tomorrow. It is kinda dark, though not really brown, more red-like. With some very nice transparancy to it, some spots you can really see right through it.

Hahah! Talk about some pimped out neckplates.
I'm not entirely sure what to do. I REALLY dig the gun logo though. But that would be cool to have on the headstock.
ALTHOUGH, if master Oi would greatly prefer to use his take on the Mosrite-logo, then it would be nice to have the gun logo on the plate.
I'll think about it. Nothing too flashy is required.
Thanks a bunch Olav!! Looking forward to those pics.

The goodies have arrived!!!
Routed the neckpocked and PU cavities:

Next thing to do is figure out the heel/neckangle and make a neckplate.
And ask Matt for some schematics for the pickups there are 5 (FIVE!!) wires comin' out...

5 wires? That's not a pickup... that's telephone switchboard.
John, here's a taste of tårt

against a window, shot at armslength

against a window, from 10-15cm

against a window, close-up

against a dark background, 5-10cm
This stuff is hard to shoot, reflections all over the place.
I think it looks very good, but you said you wanted a dark tort, so you might think this is too light or too red. I'll leave a sample at Oigun's for you to check out.

Thanks a bunch Olav! I'll wait for Oi' to check it out at the shop, and we'll decide once the paintjob is done.

I've definitely seen worse tort!

Exciting! What configuration have you got in store for the three knobs; two volume- (for each pickup) and one tone knob? Cooloigun wrote:Getting along withe the carve...
