We call it the "Charlatan". We decreased the thickness of the maple core in the bobbin to make room for the extra wire. The coil itself is the same size all the way around as it is in our RH-100. We also kept the bobbin to the same height. So the coil is also shallow like you would find in our RH-100 or a Mosrite pickup. But its more compact. We also used thin Alnico 5 bar magnets with an opposing field (just like the RH-100/Mosrite pickup) and adjustable phillips pole-pieces. It peaks around 10.1K ohms. It has the hot a fat tone that you would expect from a Mosrite pickup. It even has the aluminum mounting bar on the bottom! If you want the Mosrite tone in a Strat then you now have the option...
