I am in total agreement of Jim and Olav. Oigun is the man.

The dark ebony neck and the binding was a good call! Giving myself a pat on the back on that one. :D

Now let's see if that tort pickguard can complete the look...

I think it will. The tort (tårt?) from Oi's source is so much better than the print on stuff we usually get.
I wasn't sure about your decision for no neckbinding before, but having seen the neck IRL I gotta say that was the right choice. The black binding offsets the pearl white most elegantly, but I don't think binding this pitckblack fretboard would have amounted to the same effect. You're getting one heck of a guitar John.

Haha! I wish I could take credit for that. ;)
When Oi' originally asked me about neck binding I think I replied something like "whatever might look good with the ebony fretboard". Then we never discussed it further than that. And this is what came out. I'm real happy with it. Excited is an understatement!

Unfortunately though, as much as I would've liked to, I won't be able to swing by and pick it up myself. Did some calculating the other night and found that it wouldn't be the best decision financially right now. :(

Here's the tort from Oiguns connection once again! Looks great!
Decided on a white background, so how it looks to the left, is how it'll look on the guitar.
