Whats your favorite color?
Don't know exactly which forum this belongs in but I thought this would be an interesting discussion.

How dare you presume to inject, using reproducible facts and rational thought, an on-topic discussion into a thread that had degenerated from sarcasm, personal invective, and hand-waving arguments?

Unfortunately the polling feature quit working after our 'necessary' phpbb upgrade a couple of weeks ago. The good thing is, it is blocking 95% of the spammers registering on the forum.
As for your poll question, all of the above.

Re: Whats your favorite color?
I don't have an all around favorite but I like my ES 335 style guitars with a deep red color and butter colored binding. On other guitars like a Hallmark I think I'd like a cream or toffee color.

Re: Whats your favorite color?
No great surprise, sunburst is my favorite - so long as it's done right, like my '66 in the forum logo. Otherwise, for classic Mosrite colors, I'd say, in order of preference, pearl white, CAR, blue. For the solid colors, I like the look of a natural neck with the front and back of the headstock painted to match the body.
As an aside, I think contrasting body binding makes a world of difference too.
Beyond that, some less common colors, like Adam's seafoam Gruggett, suit the particular instrument really well.

For a Ventures model Mosrite, definitely Sunburst first, followed by Pearl White/tortoise. Stratocaster: Daphne Blue M/N and Telecaster: Butterscotch Blonde M/N -white pick guard, Celebrity in CAR

Re: Whats your favorite color?
Ventures/Mark I--three-tone sunburst, especially with binding, but I also like white pearl with the tortoiseshell pickguard, and my Hallmark 60 Custom is Surf Pearl and looks great.
