Pickup bobbin dimensions?

Hi everyone.
While I love the look and sound of Mosrites, I can't afford a real one, much less a modern or vintage clone, so I'm looking at improving the sound of my Squier Tele Standard. I've got more time than money, and I love to tinker, so I'm thinking about winding some pickups. I know I won't get THE Mosrite sound, but it seems like a fun project.
I've been looking at the StewMac P90 kit as well as some Mosrite pup pictures online, and it seems to me that one of physical differences between the a P90 and a Mosrite pup is the height of the maple core.
Can anyone tell me the physical dimensions of a classic Mosrite pup and/or the bobbin parts?
Thanks!
