... really

So here is my Mosrite celebrity

Image

As you can see it is more a puzzle than a guitar.

For now i checked many things but i have some questions :

It seems that the upper side of the body is not glued to the internal block in the bridge zone, i can put a shim of paper between them. Is it normal ?

I would also like to play it a little before refin it, to check if everything works as it should

My main problem for now is that some screws are missing. Unfortunately these are US wood screws, and i can't find them in Paris.

Do you know some US supplier that have precise description of these and selling them in little packs ? I don't need a lot of ones, and i am not yet very confident with screw indentification

Thank you very much,

Yves

Where's Sarah when you need her. She was working on making replacement parts for celebrities.

... Still sanding the body... a little bit everyday...

and still looking for screws ! Anyone has an idea ? I have a precise reference of my needs

Only 2 for the necks,1 for the control plate, 1 for pickguard, 5 for pickups, 2 for tailpiece
Only 11 screws :(

I have all the mesures and refs

If anyone has a good source i will take more because they are hard to find in small quantities

Can't imagine to re-drill holes to use metric ones

Thank you for your help
