Looks very professional.
Maybe you have never built a bridge before but you're not going to tell me you are a novice in tool and dye making.
I suppose you have the necessary tools and skills.

Actually I am a novice, I'm a carpenter by trade and have never dabbled in metal working, I must have gone through 1 feet of channel aluminum before I got this one right. Thanks for the kind words, Kevin

I had a little time today today to make a couple more saddles so it's starting to look like something.

With my old eyes I need a magnifying glass.

Kevin, I think it's your computer that viewed the first images as being too large. When you posted the second photo of the same image (which BTW I deleted) they were both normal size. Usually the hosting site gives options for enlarging or reducing the size of an image.

Looks like your bridge project is coming right along. Have you drilled and tapped the screw holes in the posts yet? If not, then be sure to use plenty of oil and go real slow as the aluminum really binds a tap. I broke several taps building my first adjustable bridge until I started using plenty of oil.

No I haven't drilled and tapped the holes yet. How much smaller does the hole need to be than the tap? I got the 1" screws that were labeled #6-32 are these the same screws you use Danny?

Yes!

However I trimmed them a fraction shorter as I wanted the acorn nut to seat tight on the screw but still be loose enough to turn freely when mounted in the base.

What can you use for the inserts and adjustment studs? I've got a bridge but no studs/inserts.
