I NEED YOUR HELP -

I have a 1964 Ventures bass -

I play tuned down a whole step -

D-G-C-F

I need to put heavier strings on - without upsetting the guitar..

(Current size is 40-95 ~ I'm used to 45-105's on my fender jazz)

I don't want to stress the neck -

Ah. Well I'd suggest to just try the next size up next, But it's up to you and I haven't seen your bass in-person and I don't know how it acts to strings (They're all different.)
