Just got in a replacement pickguard in for my Mark V restoration and the holes do not match exactly. I have purchased from this individual before but before I contact him I was wondering if during production of these guitars could it be possible for pick guard holes be off a bit. 1/8" to 3/16"

It's certainly possible he "screwed up", no pun intended. I can drill new holes but I really hate to. Out of 8, 7 are not lining up.

i think 7s a bit much sounds more like a vintage V reissue type of thing?
