Great photo's Mel, I'm surprised so many of the others that were in attendance haven't chimed in. Looking forward to others report and photo's.

I'd love to see more photo's and hear about Ed Elliott's single pickup Mosrite clone. I understand a forum member took it home with him. ;) Man, I sure wish I could have attended as I would really like to have met Ed. I have met many of the others at last years fest, and meeting the other members from the forum would have been awesome. Did you sell more of the forum 'T' shirts? The more we get the word out the better our forum will become.

Thanks to Mel for the great documentation! This attendee is still winging his way home after a superb event. Thanks to all the forum members I had a chance to meet, including Mel, Adam, Terry, Bob S., and Elaine (great set!). Special thanks to Deke for putting his heart into a unique and significant musical event. Cheers to the dedicated crew who set up and struck the stage, displays and decorations, as well as to Deke and Crazy Joe who worked superhuman schedules in addition to their terrific performances.

Ed's visit was a high point for me. This forum member (as in me) would have been very happy to take the pre-Ventures replica home had Ed been able to completely finish it. The guitar still needs a maker's mark, attachment of the string mute and just a bit more buffing. He was hoping to send it to a good home after showing it off at GGF, but needed to take it back. Thanks again to Mel for posting pics of this special guitar.

That guitar was sweet. The neck felt really good to me, like it would be very easy to play fast. When you've got it I hope you'll give us a full review!

PS. Kudos to StanTone for being the only one wearing a forum T-shirt. I would have but I was in rabbinic garb all night.

Hey guys--Thanks for posting the pics, reviews, and kind words on the forum here. What a great time we had on Saturday! I am still recovering....I need an oxygen tank, a masseuse, and a tub full of fried chicken. If you can take care of that for me, send me a pm.....ha ha

Thanks again you guys, to everybody that performed and all the folks who helped hump the gear and stayed up for the setup and breakdown. I'll post more once I'm fully recovered.

Awesome report Mel, you've succeeded in rubbing off some of the GGF 2010 vibe on me. I shall revisit this thread a couple more times, I'm sure.

Now back to saving some pecunias ;)

'scuse me - I think I drooled on my keyboard at work here. Great photos, and looks like a great time had by all. I'm with ya, Paul - I'll come back to this thread many times in the future ... Can't wait until the dvds are available, Deke ...

Looks like it was an assume show and I wish I could have been there. NY to Calf. is just a bit far though. I would have loved to see Duane Eddy. I have been a fan of his sense back in the 60's. Was that a Gretsch I saw him with there? Next question is, was it his original Gretsch?

After looking at those photos I've been reduced to nonsensical babble.
