Hey--
I saw Bob packing one of those pearl H60Cs one day, and was absolutely astonished. The sparkly white with the reddish-tortoiseshell pickguard made a strikingly attractive guitar. Elegant.
The problem with those Hallmark guitars is that they are ALL most attractive, and I fluctuate between my desires for each color.
I want ONE OF EACH!!! That's not even counting the Sweptwing bass I want, or the H60C 34"-scale BASS I want Bob to make for me.

Re: Gonna make some noise!
Well, the gig went very well. The downside was that their sound system was acting up all night and the sound guy couldn't get it dialed in very well, at all. Nonetheless everyone had a great time. It seems that my original songs went over better than the cover tunes. I'm not sure why that is, but that's what I was told and it seemed to be the case judging from the reaction of the audience.
It was recorded and video taped so hopefully some of it turned out good enough to post. He said he needs a week or two to edit everything. As soon as I have something I'll get it up somehow for ya'll to listen to. Although I played my Annie for most of the night I did get my Celebrity in on several songs, including one of my favorite originals to play, "Shakey Jake".
So, stay tuned!

Sarah, your Passion in guitars is the same as mine. I had a number of cheap guitars back in the 60's when that was just what you got. First good guitar was from sears, made by Harmony. My father bought me my first Gretsch because it was what my cousin played and he was about the best guitar player in the central New York area for country music. It was a 68 Stereo White Falcon. It has been Gretsch or Mosrite ever sense.
