Wow, it worked, bear with me as I try to get this right as I doubled the last image of Bill Gruggett with the 60 custom sidejack he handbuilt for a customer.

Great Pix Jonny, keep'em coming.

As Deke said at the fest, the Go Go Gal is a visual aid. I know she sure helped Deke play better. At least I think it was him was playing.

More fantastic shots!
A while ago I had posted about the different sunbursts on Mosrites, and one example is the burst on Larry Collins' original doubleneck in your pics. Was there an official name for that shade of sunburst--that sort of purplish red, or is it just another one off creation by Semi back in the day?
Anyway, thanks for posting and look forward to seeing more. Also, really like that custom sidejack Mr. Gruggett is holding.

That doubleneck Mosrite Larry is holding is one that Semie made him in 1988. The sunburst is very similar to most of the JM65 doublenecks I've seen from that same era. Must have been Semie's standard burst at the time.

And also to answer about the $100 bet you guys were talking about--reference the "Vintage Mosrite" Japanese book again, there's a BUNCH of pictures of '63's and '64's with matching headstocks--red ones and blue ones mostly.

Will the production Sidejacks look like the one Bill Gruggett built?
